How claims are counted. A claim counts when you first prepare its paperwork. Downloading it again, or changing only its name, locators or notes, does not count again. Moving it or changing its shape makes it a new claim. Weekly allowances cover the last 7 days; monthly allowances reset with your billing month.

Billing questions

How do I cancel?

Open Account and choose Manage billing. You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for and does not renew.

Can I change plans?

Yes. Choose the new plan on this page and complete checkout. Your old subscription ends when the new one starts, and the unused part of what you paid is credited to your account and applied to your next invoices.

Do plans renew automatically?

Yes. Paid plans renew each month (or year) at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. We will tell you before any price change takes effect.

What does the Commercial overage cost?

After 400 new claims in a billing month, each additional new claim is billed at the rate shown above on your next invoice.

Do you charge BLM or county fees?

No. BLM and recording fees are paid by you directly to BLM and the county. Each filing checklist lists them.

Payments

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. ClaimStaker never sees or stores your card number.
