ClaimStakerby Imagery Atlas

Privacy Policy

Effective October 11, 2026

This policy explains what ClaimStaker (operated by USMiner, "we") collects, how we use it, and your choices.

Information we collect

How we use it

To provide the Service (laying out claims, preparing documents, keeping your history), to process payments, to support you, to secure the Service and prevent abuse and fraud, to understand and improve how the Service is used, and to comply with law. Authorized ClaimStaker administrators can view accounts and the claims prepared (including their locations) to operate, support and monitor the Service. We do not sell your personal information, do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and do not use the locations of your claims to locate or acquire mining claims ourselves.

Map services

When you use the map, your browser requests survey data, map images, place names and county information directly from public services run by the Bureau of Land Management, the U.S. Geological Survey and the U.S. Census Bureau; those requests include the map area you are viewing. If you choose Google or Esri aerial imagery, your browser requests those images from Google or Esri, which receive the map area you are viewing and your browser's usual request information under their own privacy policies (Google, Esri).

Sharing

We share information only with service providers who process it for us (hosting and database, Google for sign-in, Stripe for payments), when required by law or to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer, in each case under appropriate protections.

Retention

We keep account and project information while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your account, projects and claim history, except records we must keep for tax, accounting or legal reasons (such as Stripe billing records).

Your choices and rights

You can download your data and delete your account from the Account page, and edit or delete your projects at any time. Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, Utah or Washington), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of sales or targeted advertising (we do neither). To exercise any right, email us; we will respond as the law requires and will not discriminate against you for doing so.

Information about others

If you enter information about other people (such as co-locators), you confirm you have their permission and have told them how it will be used.

Security

We use encryption in transit, hashed session tokens, access controls and managed infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure.

Children

The Service is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes and contact

We will post changes here with a new effective date and notify you of material changes. Contact: USMiner, [email protected].
